New Feature -Message Start Event- / 新機能 - メッセージ開始イベント -

Questetra BPM Suite (hereinafter called QBPMS) execute a business process on a computer system, and we sometimes want to use a specific operation in an external system as a trigger to start a process. QBPMS fulfills this desire with Message Start Event.

The next version (Apr-2009, scheduled) of QBPMS will newly be equipped with Message Start Event Function. As soon as a pre-defined URL has been accessed, a related process starts. At the same time, you can receive data from that external system.

• With an inquiry system: arrival of an inquiry starts an inquiry-response process drawn with QBPMS.
  
• With an attendance system: Arrival at the work place starts a daily report process drawn with QBPMS.

コンピュータシステム上で業務プロセスを動かすBPMSでは、外部のシステムからの働きかけによってプロセスを開始したいときがあります。 Questetra BPM Suiteにおいて、この要求を実現するのがメッセージ開始イベントです。

次のバージョン(2009年4月バージョンになる予定)のQuestetra BPM Suiteで新規に搭載されるメッセージ開始イベント機能では、事前に規定されたURLにアクセスを受けると、そのURLと関連付けられたプロセスを開始させることができるようになります。このとき、外部システムからデータを受け取ることもできます。

これにより、外部のコンピュータシステムがQuestetra BPM Suiteのプロセスを自由に起動できることになり、Questetra BPM Suiteの可能性がさらに広がることになります。

• 問い合わせ管理システムと連携し、問い合わせを受けたらQuestetra BPM Suiteで設計した問い合わせ対応プロセスが始まる。
  
• 勤怠管理システムと連携し、出社したらQuestetra BPM Suiteで設計した日次報告プロセスが始まる。
