As reported widely around the world, Japan's general election resulted in a Democratic majority government.

Foreign countries, as well as people in Japan, seem to be watching closely with some hope and with some anxiety.

By the way, it is widely believed that Japan's white-collar productivity has been the lowest of the developed countries in spite of its highest blue-collar productivity on the planet. Though there are some academically opposing arguments against the belief, the wide belief may be based on their feelings when they work at a Japanese company.
